Our Story

The idea to create Taip began with a deep immersion into the world of urinary leaks and incontinence, led by Onė, the creator of the brand.
Here’s what we did to better understand this challenge:
  • We Talked to Many Women: We interviewed women with different levels of urinary leaks to understand their emotions and daily struggles.
  • We Investigated Existing Solutions: We analyzed how these women find and choose the best solutions for their needs.
  • We Came Across the Stigma: We discovered how the stigma and shame surrounding urinary incontinence affects women's lives. The reality is that one in 5 women faces this issue, but no one really talks about it.


What We Do

At Taip, we develop washable underwear for urinary incontinence that is a sustainable and a dignified alternative to disposable products. Our process included:
  • Choosing the Best Natural Fabrics: We select fabrics that are soft, comfortable, and sustainable.
  • Absorbent Analysis: We tested different types of absorbents to ensure maximum effectiveness and comfort.
  • Designing Innovative Models: We created various underwear models to provide long-term solutions.

How We Do It
